   Ahhh – the holidays. I haven’t spent them with my parents in more than eight years. There’s a reason. I can swear in front of them, but then they give me the “you’re going to hell look” and then i yell back “well, I’m takin’ you with me” and the drama starts and we recall all the shitty stuff we’ve done to one another and there’s all this crying and hate-glaring and I then I feel like I’m 16 again. Joy to the world!

   If only Jack McCoy was available during the holidays (sort of a like a rent-a-clown) and he could slap everyone in the family silly and say “Enough! I’m running for District Attorney and you’re not gonna ruin it for me this time.”

   Sheesh – I’m not bitter. I need a nap…
